ICX7150-C12P is disconnected

switch.pngI am unable to connect to the switch in a lennar home. APs are working, switch is not showing as connected in the unleashed portal. 

 

Tried connecting through putty and mobaxterm but unable to connect..

Did an IP scanner and identified the IP with correct MAC address. But somehow unable to connect. I tried to connect directly to the laptop via the USB-C port, but unable to open either telnet/ssh/serial connection.

I tried telnet through the console port but I am unable to connect. Command line is not opening up but refuse to connect. I tried to console via usb but the same result. I tried the same with over wifi as well. I am able to ping the router successfully.  7.png

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

Could you please try to log into the Switch CLI using SSH once again, using the default credential?

Switch default credentials will be as mentioned below. 

Username: super

Password: sp-admin

If the above credentials don’t work, you can try below default credential combinations as well.

If any of the above credentials don’t work, please try to factory reset the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch as described in the below VIDEO and once you perform the reset try to log into CLI using SSH with the above-mentioned default credentials again.

Hello Imran,

I did a factory reset of the switch as described in the video, the switch status lights flashed and rebooted. However I still can't access the switch by any means. I tried connecting ssh with default credentials - access denied. Tried telnet - connection refused. Tried console - Nothing happens. tried via browser - access denied. Completely blocked on bringing switch back. Please advice the next steps. I am not sure why console connection is not working, I did install the USB driver for console connection but nothing seems to be working. 8.png9.png10.png

Thank you for the response and the update.

If you are unable to get the IP address of the Switch, please once again try getting console access to the Switch and help me with the command outputs I shared previously.

Here is a guide on how to access to the Switch via console (cable access between your PC to the ICX 7150-C12P) in this case we need a USB type C to USB standard OR Console cable Rj45 to USB (Any one cable- please refer the guide)

Once you are logged in to the ICX-7150-C12P please follow and perform the commands and help with the outputs.

Hello Imran,

Sorry for the delayed response. However I tried to connect to the console exactly like the document you sent, No luck. It is not letting me connect via mobaxterm/putty. Asking for login and never takes me to the switch or router console. Please see the attached images. Please advice the next steps.
