As per the case description, I understand that you are unable to login to the Unleashed using the password.
Could you please confirm if you are able to login to the AP using the web browser or through the Unleashed app?
Also, please share the screenshot of the page where you are getting stuck or getting any error message.
Please try to use the default combination credentials as mentioned below to login to the Ap using browser or through app.
Please follow the steps and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

I can't access the app or the webpage - the app won't connect and the configsys network is gone - the webpage tells me this -
I really do need to secure my network - it's now wide-open!

Thank you for the response.
From the response you shared, I understand that you are trying to secure your Wi-fi with a password.
However, you are unable to set a new password.
We would request you to not use the remote control option while creating the password.
We recommend creating a new WLAN and reconnecting the devices to the new network and you do have an option to set a new password while creating the new Wi-Fi network.
Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to factory reset the AP and create new Wi-Fi network.
