I recently changed my ISP to ATT and ever since I’m getting these Heartbeat loss alerts every 12 hours or so. I was asked to create my own thread to address my issue. Can you please help me get this resolved?

Hello, I just got heartbeat loss for both of my access points after changing the settings you requested yesterday. Can you please help me understand in the simplest way why this is happening. This all started after changing my Xfinity ISP to ATT fiber. I have a ruckus switch with 2 APs. I also have a Linksys Mesh system hooked up to the ATT router for a second network. Finally, per suggestion above I created another SSID. These alerts and drop offs of service are driving me nuts

Hi @Rolo106

Due to the changes in the ISP there could be multiple factors that causes heartbeat loss issue. To avoid IP conflict we need to change the AP's IP address from static to dynamic. Once you are done with the above process we should reboot the switch.

To solve this issue please try to factory reset the access points using the using below.

Here is a short guide how to reset the access points correctly this process sometimes needs to be done multiple times.

I just got heartbeat loss alerts again from my 2 APs and my system went down. Earlier this morning I disconnected my Linksys network, so that wasn't the problem. Is a factory reset the only way to fix my issue? I'm worried that things will get even more messed up if I do so. Does a factory reset mean I have to reconnect all my devices? I just spent the last few days getting everything off my Linksys network. Please advice. This is ridiculous. Everything was working fine before changing ISP. Please respond and explain like you're trying to teach a 2 year old girl. Thank you
