Hi @Dylannn23

Greetings of the day!!!

Thank you for sharing the requested information.

Based on the troubleshooting done, your ICX-7150-C12P Switch is not working, and when the Access Points are plugged they are getting power for some time and goes back offline. It's an indication of Switch PoE port issues.  This Switch unit Should be RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in simple words replacing it.

Feel free to contact us via chat, comment you already have a post, copy the link from the post (URL), and paste it into the chat to start the unit replacement.

Please follow the steps as shown in the below example:

Hello @Dylannn23 ,

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

I hope you are doing well!!!

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that you received the replacement Switch, and the AP is still not turning on.

Could you please unplug the Access point cable from the port which is connected to the Switch (please refer to the below figure) and connect it back to any other 12 ports in the Switch and kindly check if the Ap is turning on?

Please let us know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Hello. I tried a different port and it is still not turning on. After unplugging and plugging the switch back in yesterday, I received power again to the AP. However, this morning I no longer have power to the AP and no lights are displaying. The switch is still showing the same green lights

Hello @Dylannn23 ,

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that your Ruckus AP is not turning on even after changing the ports. .

As you have mentioned that the switch is working and there are no lights in the access points, it is always good to check if the PoE is disabled or not.

Please follow the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article which will help you to check if the PoE is disabled and to fix the issue if it is disabled.

Please follow the process and let me know if you need any help during the process.

Thank you again for your patience.

I'm trying to access the CLI through terminal on my MacBook and it is not working. I am not posting the IP here for privacy purposes, but I did use the device IP address which I found through the Fing app on my iPhone.

SSH admin@IP: Unable to negotiate with "IP" port 22: no matching key exchange method found. Their offer: diffie-hellman-group14-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1

NC "IP" 23: does not result in anything
