Rack Ear Screws for ICX 7150 48p

Hello,

I just picked up a used ICX 7150-48P on ebay to replace a toy Ubiquiti fanless poe switch.

The seller had shipped the switch without the rack ears attached.

The only issue is that the supplied screws were too big.  The screws was that came with the ears in a baggie taped to the switch wouldn't engage the threads on the switch cabinet.

Thinking this was the wrong size, I ended up getting a bag of 50 8-32 x 5/16 from Amazon.

They were the same size, same coarse threading.  Still doesn't fit.

I was hoping for a mechanical drawing or other document showing screw size but no joy.

Thanks in advance,

John

Thanks for the link, but I had already viewed it previously.  I will be unkind and say that document was absolutely useless, as it mentioned a couple of rack kits that used 8-32 screws, which are too big for the threads on the side of the ICX 7150-48P.

On a lark, I went and ordered the next size down from Amazon:

#6-32x5/16" flat head screws.  Guess what, these worked.

No, it is not.  As per my original post, the ICX-48P replaced a Ubiquiti USW-24P.
