LBS Disabled on wifi0 - Can't connect to vSPoT

Hi,

I'm trying to get my 7372 APs to connect to our vSPoT instance via a ZoneDirector 1100.

We are running the latest firmware on the ZD and APs i.e. 9.10.0.0 build 218.

Everything looks configured correctly but I get the following on the ZD Monitor > Location Services.
Image_ images_messages_5f91c3e1135b77e2478c481d_4cbaf5dd386eb7cf36fa67bd79a110de_RackMultipart201506117081fryzi-6b3a1a02-a3b8-4291-ab6f-c4be4e7f5c3c-1294000332.JPG1433986826

So the ZD is connecting OK to the vSPoT but the APs are not connecting.

When I look at the individual APs, I can see the following.

rkscli: get lbs-server
State: Enabled
URL: 175.x.x.x
port: 8883
Venue: vspot
OK

rkscli: get lbs wlan0
LBS mode:
LBS Disabled on wifi0 OK

I can't find anything on the ZD configuration menue to enable LBS for a specific WLAN - it only enables per AP group.

Thanks,

Michael

looking at screenshots to start off with...

seems there is a bug in LBS feature as GUI is reporting that AP-ZD status as disconnected but its is actually there up and running.

its a issue worth while to handled by support as it being a complete new feature and I am not aware of nuts and bolts of it...

Is the venue provisioned and do you have a radio map in the venue?

Hi all,

Thanks for your help and suggestions.

Finally resolved this issue. Turns out there is a bug with the ZD if you are running on a 192.168.50.x subnet...

Once I changed the subnet, everything worked beautifully.

Cheers,
