In all likelihood, you will need to DOWNGRADE your installation of Unleashed to accommodate the R500 Access Point.

The last supported version of Unleashed was Ruckus Unleashed AP 200.7.10.202.121 (MR Refresh5) Software for R500.

Evidently, the firmware beyond this release is too large to fit on the R500 Access Points, so they are no longer supported in firmware versions newer than this one.

Since the R500 Access Points are no longer supported, no additional firmware will be created for them unless some glaring security problem surfaces in the future.  If you are ok with that, then using this firmware on both the R500 and R510 AP's should allow you to run them under Unleashed and Mesh them.

Here is the link to the firmware if you need it.

Here is a link to the Release Notes which I suggest you review before deciding which way to proceed.

Personally, I have 4 of the R500's setup in my home.  Two of them are hardwired to my main router, and the other two are Meshed off of the first two.  They have worked flawlessly since installing them.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I have managed to correct this by downgrading the R510. All is working as it should.

Thanks for the replies.

Glad it works for you!

I have been really happy with my setup, and expect it will continue working for many years to come.

Thanks for your update and congratulations on your successful implementation of Ruckus Unleashed (Mesh??)!
