Is Ruckus allowing folks to reset devices and maintain the existing licenses for the devices or like Ubiquiti no longer allowing any support for devices that are no longer supported? I'm very disappointed with Ubiquiti, like with Windows 11, it seems to be the trend to prevent customers from maintaining old geer.

Hi Piet,
ZD1200 comes in different SKUs. AFAIK, default one comes with 5 AP support so even if you factory reset, you will not lose the AP lic.
Also, if you buy additional licenses and wants to do a factory reset, you can always download the license file from our support site and can support same number of APs as it was supporting before the factory reset.

I take it a SKUs is a version of the ZD1200.
Why is there more than one SKU. Seems unnecessary, as I thought they all come
preconfigured for 5 access points.
I need a web page with the SKU's so O know what I'm buying.

Hi Piet,
Some customers may like to purchase ZD with more permanent hardcoded AP licenses (as per available SKUs). In that case ZD will never lose the lic even if you factory reset it.
This is the reason for having different SKUs.
