Can't reset ruckus R750 to factory defaults

Hello,

I usually get the R550 but I'm trying to reset an R750 for a client to the factory defaults (no one knows the login).  I tried this article but still can't get into it with super sp-admin.

https://www.router-reset.com/info/Ruckus-Wireless/R750

I've also tried powering it on and holding down the reset for 7 seconds.

Anything you can do to let me know where I'm going wrong would be appreciated.

I've never seen this before but I tested with SSH and it worked so I tried incognito mode and it worked for chrome - edge also worked.   My guess is something is cached which is preventing normal web login.

Yes - sorry - I thought I was clear - the issue wasn't that the AP wasn't being reset with the standard 7 second reset with the button - it turns out the browser wasn't letting me in.  I used a different browser or incognito mode and I was able to log in.   I didn't know it was th browser because it was asking me to log in, it just would fail when I pasted in the username and password.  WHen I went to incognito mode it worked.

But to answer the question - with ssh I could perform a factory reset - I just couldn't log in with the browser after I did the CLI factory reset - until I used another browser or incognito mode.   I've never seen the issue before but I just programmed 7 of them and 3 acted that way with my browser in default mode.

So the issue is solved.

Looks like issue with browser compatibility.

Do you know the AP firmware version and different between a accessible vs non-accessible AP's software version?

Also note that AP previously connected to a controller will not be accessible over the web, because controller disables the HTTP and HTTPS access to AP web portal for security reasons.

If you wish to access without doing a factory reset, SSH into the AP and enable http and https.

set http enable

set https enable

Sorry - I do not know the previous firmware revision - I've updated them all to R750_200.12.10.105.129.

Thanks.

No worries, but if you hit the issue next time, just try to collect the info and try the provided steps.
