vSZ External Captive Portal Login error

Hello,

We have a Ruckus vSZ, version 5.1.0.0.496 that is triggering a 404 error when user tries to authenticate through our external captive portal form.

We submit a POST request with the user credentials (username and password to the following URL -> http://CONTROLLER_ADDRESS:9997/SubscriberPortal/hotspotlogin?nbiIp=) and we get a 404 error response.

Do you have idea about what could this be?
We are sending the parameter "nbiIp" with an empty value, is that value required?
You can see the specified error in the screenshot below:

Thanks!

Best regards,
Cristiano

Hi Cristiano,

Please make sure you have Northbound interface is configured and check if client Vlan has access to controller IP.

Refer Hotspot guide and verify if you are using any one of the method that is mentioned in that guide.

Hi Abi,

We are not using the Northbound API. We post the user credentials directly to the controller.

Thanks!
