Wifi requires private Mac address

Hi,

i create a WLAN in VSZ. Its a regular WLAN, open auth, with AES passphrase (WPA2/WPA3). But i can only connect to it if i disable the private address parameter on IOS/MacOS devices. Do you know a configuration parameters that i should check to permit the private address, since its mainly activated by default on IOS devices?

Thanks

Hi @tech_informatiq,

Please confirm if you are referring to MAC randomization. If yes, irrespective of MAC randomization enable/disable, device should connect to the WLAN.

I hope you did not apply any ACLs on the WLAN which may be blocking the device access.

Also, confirm the vSZ and AP firmware and AP model information.

Hi @syamantakomer ,

Yes i do referring to MAC Randomization. I didn't apply any ACL.

VSZ : 6.1.1.0.959

AP Firm : 6.1.1.0.1322

AP model : R610

Thanks for your time, it's much appreciated.

Hi @tech_informatiq,

There is no such known issue observed in 6.1.1 and we just tested and were able to connect without any issues.

Please use the troubleshooting utility on vSZ and see where client connection is failing.
