I'm trying to setup a new vSZ-H instance, client is coming from VSZ-E, running into the issue of not seeing local database in the wlan config.
So I've replicated the users in the domain under security / users / local users.
While setting up one WLAN I tried to select Local Database as the 802.1x authentication server (controller as proxy) but it doesn't show Local Database as an option.

Might this be a bug in the latest release? Does anyone running 7.1.0 have this issue as well?
This is how I expect it to look:

It looks like on vSZ-H this doesn't work, on vSZ-E it works fine.

Hi Alex,
We do not support Local DB with 802.1X

Thanks Vineet,
So in 6.1.1 it was supported (https://docs.commscope.com/bundle/sz-611-switchmgmt-sz300vszh/page/GUID-A4BFE365-B8B5-4518-A24B-A396...) and it was scrapped from 6.1.2.
But on vSZ-E it works even on version 7.1.1 ?

Hi Alex,
As per my testing these are working for vSZ-E on 6.1.2 too but scrapped for vSZ-H. I am assuming this has been done due to some background issue which I will check internally and YES this was supported on all platform prior :
Best Regards
Vineet
