Upgrade VSZ

Hi!

Is there any known issuses with upgrading VSZ 6.1.2.0.1071 to 7.1.1

Is it supported, why I ask is for the 6.1.2.0.1071 is newer then the 7.1.1

The release notes call out that this is not supported:

RESTRICTION
Upgrading from SmartZone 6.1.2 (Patch 5) to software versions 7.0.0 (ST-GA), 7.1.0 (LT-GA), or 7.1.1 (LT-GA) is not supported

Upgrade from 6.1.2 patch5 to 7.1.1 is not supported as of now.

There is 7.1.1 patch releasing soon which will have the upgrade possible from 6.1.2 patch5.

Upgrade guide for 7.1.1 is shared below and refer to the compatibility matrix on page 23.

So many versions, why not auto update....
The update solution could be so much better, look at pfsense
