Signature pack exceeds maximum filesize

I'm preparing to upgrade our SZ100 from 3.6.1 to 5.2.1 which appears to be a supported upgrade path according to the upgrade guide.

Instructions on the 5.2.1 download page say: "Before upgrading SZ100 to 5.2.1.0.515 (GA), update to the Application Recognition and Control v1.470.1 signature package file"

However, if I try to install that signature package to the current system, it errors with 'The file size (9.7MB) cannot exceed the maximum size (2.0MB)

I can't see any file size settings, so presumably it's a hard coded limit.  So how do I install the signature pack before I upgrade the firmware?  Can I ignore that and install the signature pack afterwards?  The upgrade guide suggests not.

Do I need to go through any interim versions, and if so which ones? (again, upgrade guide says direct upgrade from 3.6.1 to 5.2 is supported)

Hi Federico,

Please upgrade the controller first and then update the sign pack.

If still getting error, please share the same.

Hi Syamantak,

I've upgraded to 5.1.2, uploaded the SigPack, and upgraded to 5.2.2 after without issues.

Thank you for your answer.

Best regards,
