SSL Cert and WebAuth question

I got a little confusion about “Web Auth” and 3rd party valid SSL cert.  

I know under Certificate to Service Mapping I will map AP Portal to the cert that will get imported under “SZ as a Server Certificate”. But if the SSID is not doing the Proxy via the controller and each AP presents the portal page and uses its IP, would that cause any issues?

Am I missing any steps here?

Hi Ali,

If you are using proxy, then you need to map cert with SZ management. For non proxy, map the cert with AP portal.

Usually you can do both if you have a valid CA signed cert imported to SZ.
