Hi,
we have applied OS policy for WLAN intended for use only with our mobile devices (android, ios, blackberry, chrome OS).
Most of the client mobile devices work without a problem, but we have several which are unable to connect. We've found out that their phones are using some sort of hybrid android OS (Xiaomi mobile phone). If we disable OS policy they can connect.
How can we deal with these clients and have OS policy active ??
PS:
Wiki: "Xiaomi runs on its own version of OS which is known as MIUI. MIUI is a combination of Android and IOS, thus it is very similar to Android but it contains many good features of IOS too"
Thanks
mIRO

Hi Vimro,
Please open a TAC case attach packet capture of DHCP transaction (DORA) from that client and request support to add this OS fingerprint to existing database which should probably be made available in future release.

Thanks for the info. I just did what you suggested 😉
I hope that support for these devices will be added.
