Hi.
Recently, some customers and partners have asked us if they could use Okta for WLAN authentication.
In WLAN, 802.1x authentication allows radius authentication, so it is not easy to authenticate using Okta's account information.
There is a SAML authentication method for authenticating using Okta account information on WLAN, but this is not a method for 802.1x and is very complex because it uses a captive portal for onboarding.
Okta provides Radius Agent for this case.
Fortunately, you can perform 802.1x authentication without installing a separate radius server or creating a captive portal for SAML authentication by using the Radius Agent provided by Okta.
I completed this test by creating an Okta trial account.
You can perform 802.1x using an Okta account in Smartzone, Ruckus One, and Unleashed by looking at this document.
Please find more documents about details for Okta authentication(SAML, LDAP and etc)
I hope this will be helpful to you.
Ruckus is free to upload it to the KB article at any time, so please share it when you have time.
