ruckus switch stuck on amber light after power outage

I had a power outage and now my switch is stuck on an amber light. I unplugged and pushed the reset button but nothing happened. I had this happen before and holding down the button fixed it.

I made sure the switch is in switch mode and not router mode.

What else can I try?

Thank you for the response.

As you mentioned that you have performed reset multiple times, the only option left is software recovery.

We need to perform a software recovery since it can be that the image flash is corrupted in basic words the unit is not able to boot up properly and need to re-install the image to boot up properly.

Please let us know if you are getting stuck at any point of reset or software recovery or if you have any queries in this regard.

Hello Pinky,

I was able to get it working. I had to unplug both the switch and my ISP router. Once I did that it started working again.

Hi - I’m also experiencing the same thing. Can you provide more details on what exactly fixed your issue? Did you restart the router then do the reset on the Ruckus? thanks

I unplugged my router.let it reboot and unplugged and replugged the switch back in
