ruckus c12p not working at all

I am a new owner of a ruckus system that was used by previous home owners. I tried to reset the ruckus per the instructions but I don't even get the configure.me to get anything started. Please help me to either troubleshoot to get it to work or have the entire system replaced. Followed the strartup wizzard and nothing works. Very aggravating!!!

Hi @PC

Thank you for the response and the information.

Based on the light status your setup is working normally. To configure the Access Points, I would recommend you factory reset your APs as described below.

IMPORTANT NOTE: As you have multiple Access Points (APs) in your house, please make sure you only keep the affected AP On and reset the same. Please go to the Ruckus Switch (located in the panel) and disconnect from its ports the Ethernet cables of the Working Access Point, except the one that you are going to work with (non-working). And repeat the same for other APs.

Please read the following guide carefully:

Hello,

I tried the items that you recommended to try to get my Ruckus to work with no luck. I tried all the reset steps that you sent me as well as connected an Ethernet cable and tried this as well:

After completing all of the steps provided, my Ruckus is still not working. At this point I will need to have either have someone come and troubleshoot this thing to fix it or have a new one shipped out.

I need help right away please.

Hi @PC

Greetings of the day!!!

Thank you for the update.

Apologies, we cannot replace the Switch or AP since this is a configuration issue that could be resolved by troubleshooting steps. Replacement/RMA is covered only for a hardware issue.

Could you please let us know if you performed the factory reset of APs as described in the previous post and what is the light status of the APs and Switch? Please share the pictures showing the light status Switch and APs.

Thank you again.

Factory reset was performed numerous times on the switch and APs. Like stated before the Configure.me.x.x.x.x never appear as an wifi options so I’m not able to start the set up. Light status for switch and AP are attached. Please advise on what I can do to get this issue fix.

Hi @PC

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

From the pictures you shared Switch and AP lights are in a normal state. (Please refer to below link for the same)

https://docs.ruckuswireless.com/unleashed/200.3/R510.html

Could you please swap the APs ethernet cable on other ports (any within 12 ports as shown in the below screenshot) and try to reset the AP again?

Please note, we need to reset the AP by a paper clip first in order to get configure.me.x.x.x.x SSID to configure further.  (Please refer to the below video from 2:35 minutes)

IMPORTANT NOTE: To perform a factory reset correctly on one of the access point, you must disconnect the rest of your other access points from the "ICX-7150-switch". For example, if you have 3 access points, you should go to the switch and disconnect 2 of the cables to turn off the "2 access points" and only leave 1 connected with which we are going to work the factory reset once you configure the access point and make sure all is good, go ahead and reconnect the other Access Points back.
