frequrntly disconnect from internet and extremely slow

Hi, I have 3 APs connected to CX7150. These were installed by Lennar in 2018. I now have issues with the APs dropping connection frequently. I have to restart the CX7150 to get back online. But even after restart, these provide very erratic connection with speed ranging from 17 to about 190 MBPS while my wired connection provides over 950MBPS at any point of time. I do not have my unleashed account details (forgot).

Yes. I did try changing the ports on the switch. But it did not help. I shall try to follow the guidelines in your link and see if I can upgrade the version. And get back to you on the results.

Hello @vijayakirank ,

Thank you for the response.

From the pictures shared, I understand that the light status on the switch and the connection is normal.

Also, please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

show inline power

show inline power detail

show interface brief

show lldp neighbors detail

Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi, I thought this upgrade worked as I did not find the issue for 2 days. This happens again now. And the connection drops often and requires a restart for devices to get connected to wifi. Is there anything that can fox this issue? or do I replace my Ruckus with something else? Request your quick help. At this point, I feel my APs have no issue but all the issu is with the CX7150 C12P switch.

Hello @vijayakirank ,

Greetings!

Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

I hope you are doing well!!!

Thank you for the information you shared.

As per the case description, I understand that you are experiencing slow speed and frequent disconnection issues even after performing  the Switch upgrade.

Could you please confirm if there was any kind of power outage / power spike before this issue happened?

Also, could you please access the CLI of the Switch to check few configurations of the Switch?

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash

Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

Hi, Since this started over a month ago, I do not remember if there is any power surge. But I have a whole home power surge protector. Hence, power surge should not be a cause. If you look into this ticket, The message chain shows all the details of the version, etc. Looking at the details provided by me earlier, you asked me to upgrade the version. I did as per your advice. But that di not seem to resolve the issue. What I observed is, whenever I power off the switch and wait for sometime and then restart, The system works fine for a few hours and then drops the connection again.

Hello @vijayakirank ,

Thank you for the response.

For us to proceed further, we need to know the configurations on the Switch.

I would request you to please login to the CLI and perform the above mentioned commands on the CLI.

Also, please help us with pictures of your ICX-7150-C12P Switch showing the status of the lights and cable connections to the Switch ports.

We are always here to assist you in the best possible way.

Please share the screenshots of the output of the commands which was shared in the previous post.
