Switch in boot mode, unable to reset or console into switch

We had a power outage and the access points have no power. Switch appears to be stuck in boot mode as I've seen on many other posts (green and amber lights). Multiple reset attempts do not work (power down switch and hold the reset button while powering back up), the lights just flash amber unendingly. I've tried to connect my computer directly to the switch to update or factory reset, but this has not worked. I've downloaded and installed the drivers that should help the devices recognize the connection (CP210x) and restarted my computer, but when I connect using either a USB-C cable or an ethernet cable using the identified port (COM3), my Putty console just sits there. Of potential note: my laptop has only USB-C ports, I've tried connecting directly from USB-C (laptop) to USB-C (switch) or via a USB adaptor, nothing works. Please advise this is extremely frustrating.

Hello @danalbre ,

Thank you for the response.

I would request you to please refer to the below pictures and connect the cables before performing the Software recovery.

A console cable connected between your Computer to the ICX 7150 Switch Type-C USB console port.

Note: The cable type will be USB to type C, where the USB it’s going to your computer and the type C to the Type C connection in your switch

Ethernet cable connected between the Out-of-band management port in the Switch to your computer Ethernet port.

Please complete the software recovery process after connecting the cables as mentioned in the above figures and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

I'm a little confused now - you previously requested that I ensure that the device drivers were installed correctly. I tried that and ran into issues with installing the drivers that I detailed in my previous message, so it appears that the drivers are not working on my laptop for whatever reason. If this is the case, then I won't be able to connect directly to the switch, correct? Can you provide any additional support for installing the drivers as the previous instructions that I followed twice did not work?

Hell o @danalbre ,

Thank you for the response.

From the pictures you shared in the previous post, it seems that the cables are not connected properly.

Please remove the cable and and then connect the cables  as mentioned in the previous post and let us kow know if you have any queries in this regard.

Once the cables are connected, you may try installing the drivers again and confirm if you are able to complete the software recovery procedure.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
