Ruckus ICX7150 stuck or broken?

No power to APs, dont think we had a power surge but it looks like the most possible circumstance.

Ive tried everything, most tutorials are saying to connect via IP, which I cant because when I scan I dont see the switch on the network even though its connected as always.

When I try and connect via serial, I was able to get into CLI but instead of ICX7150-Router> in the command it says ICX7150-Boot> and doesnt allow commands like enable, show inline power, etc. Just allows me to do things like printenv and whatnot.

Tried setting up TCPT server or whatever and cant get it to connect. Heard it was because i needed to factory reset first, and I did the thing where I hold down the reset when plugging in power so it blinks all amber, but it now just blinks amber indefinitely (its been over an hour). Also the Putty says the following while doing that:

Booted from partition 2

For the love of god, help or send me a new one or a technician who can help!

Hi @AdventC

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

When we do it with cable console access to the Switch and reset, it should work. Not sure what is wrong.

May I please know if you performed the same using Telnet as well?

Also please reset with some new credentials (new username and password) and check. Please share the screenshots of the same.

Please check, confirm, and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Im not sure, I followed the instructions to the letter. Can you share what responses you get if you run that code? I get the same thing every time I do it. I also changed it to different credentials than "super" and "pass" to see if that works and nothing. I didnt try this via telnet.

I do want to add that resetting the switch via OS seems to have fixed my issues with the ethernet. I am at the point where I dont want to touch the switch because everything is finally working again... but it feels like it is a rickety old bridge about to collapse.

Hi @AdventC

Thank you for the response and the information.

CLI output should be the same as you sent apart from the ‘Key already exist. Please zeroize it’ error which should not appear after the command ‘crypto key zeroize rsa’

And good to know that you have a stable connection at this point.

To confirm all the configuration once, please share the pictures of the Switch showing the cable connections and the Access Points pictures as well. And please share the screenshots of the Unleashed web system showing the Access Points and Switch connectivity.

Also please share the output of the below commands.

Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.

Note: Hit Enter to accept each command

enable

show version

show flash

show inline power

show interface brief

show inline power detail

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,

Imran Sanadi
