Ruckus ICX7150 stuck or broken?

AdventC

No power to APs, dont think we had a power surge but it looks like the most possible circumstance.

Ive tried everything, most tutorials are saying to connect via IP, which I cant because when I scan I dont see the switch on the network even though its connected as always.

When I try and connect via serial, I was able to get into CLI but instead of ICX7150-Router> in the command it says ICX7150-Boot> and doesnt allow commands like enable, show inline power, etc. Just allows me to do things like printenv and whatnot.

Tried setting up TCPT server or whatever and cant get it to connect. Heard it was because i needed to factory reset first, and I did the thing where I hold down the reset when plugging in power so it blinks all amber, but it now just blinks amber indefinitely (its been over an hour). Also the Putty says the following while doing that:

Booted from partition 2

Ok, I will try this later.

Do you know if this will actually help my Ethernet problem? Any idea why playing certain games would make it disconnect the internet in the whole house? It is very specific, everything wifi working okay, i try to play a game via ethernet cord to pc, and everything in the house, wifi included, goes down.

Hi @AdventC

Thank you for the response.

Apologies, we have not seen such behavior with any user. However, we will setup RUCKUS Unleashed system stable, and you could check after that. For now please try to reset usrename and password.

Also, you could check connecting Ethernet cable to your ISP (Internet Service Provider) Router to your game laptop and check.

And could you please share the screenshot showing the below information?

Please check and confirm and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi,

Just tried to reset again, and same thing, i get the same code as before. It says i already generated the RSA key so it keeps saying to zeroize it, which I have no idea what that means. Also I tried the new login and pw and still not working.

Please advise. below is the entire output, maybe something in there will give you insight?

Thank you for the response and the update.

When you get 'Key already exist. Please zeroize it', enter the below command and repeat the reset steps once again.

Command:

crypto key zeroize rsa

Hi,

Just tried this again with no luck. Zeroized, reset, went to boot, did everything in your steps, and tried to login using the WEB GUI again and it didnt work. I also waited overnight, so several hours and no progress. Is there another way to try and login to the switch or is that a good way to test?
