Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P doesn't turn on (No power, no status light)

Already tried different power cords/outlets, but no luck. Also tried the reset instructions below, no work either. Please help.

  • Remove power from the switch.
  • Press and hold the Reset button while applying power to the switch.
  • After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the Reset button.

Thank you for sharing the requested information.

Based on the troubleshooting done, your ICX-7150-C12P Switch is not powering up, and when plugged into a power outlet there is no power to the Switch. Also, you tried to reset the Switch. And you confirm that the Switch is plugged into a well-known outlet/power source also tried with different cords. However, the failure persists. This unit Should be RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) in simple words replacing it.

If your Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P switch does not turn on and there is no power or status light, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check the power source: Ensure that the power outlet or power source you are using is functioning properly. Try plugging in another device to confirm if power is available.

  2. Power cable and connections: Verify that the power cable is securely connected to both the switch and the power source. Check for any loose or damaged connections and try using a different power cable if available.

  3. Power supply unit: The power supply unit (PSU) may be faulty. If possible, try using a known working PSU from a similar switch model to see if the issue is resolved. If the switch has multiple power supply slots, try using a different slot.

  4. Power button: Double-check that the power button on the switch is in the correct position and firmly pressed. Sometimes, the button can get stuck or not make proper contact.

  5. Power surge protection: If you suspect a power surge or electrical issue, consider using a surge protector or connecting the switch to a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) to provide stable power and protect against power fluctuations.

  6. Contact technical support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it is recommended to contact  Ruckus technical support or consult their documentation for further assistance. From the case description, I could understand that your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch is not powering up.

Please try to reset by a paper clip multiple times.

Could you please try to check by replacing another Power cord with the Switch? In case the current power cord had damaged. And also follow the points shared by @dumps4ccielab

Hi @dumps4ccielab and Imran_ruckus

I've tried your suggestions, but still no power. I believe it's completely dead. I've moved it and tried several outlets in the house with a couple of new power cords. Please see the attached pictures below. All the outlets showed power with the tester. Power cords are working fine with other devices. Please advise on the next steps.
