Hello,
I woke up today to my ruckus APs not broadcasting their SSIDs. After some research I was thinking maybe they upgraded their firmware overnight and the new unleashed firmware may require the ICX7150 to be on newer firmware as well. I updated the switch to 8.0.95B from 8.0.90B, but the three APs still wouldn’t connect.
They’re only online intermittently which is making it difficult to diagnose the issue.
One of the APs, when online, shows “building the unleashed network” on the web interface. All three APs have static IPs assigned by the router (ubiquity ER-4).
Any direction in getting these APs back online (ideally with their current configuration as I run multiple VLANs) would be very appreciated.
Thank you

Hi @Kanakaboy92
Thank you for sharing the picture.
I see from the picture you shared, seems like the ethernet cables which are coming from the other 2 Access Points are plugged into the wrong ports on the Switch panel. They must be plugged into any 1 in-12 ports for new versions as shown in the below screenshot. Please unplug the ethernet cables and plug them into the correct port. If required reboot your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch and ISP Router/Modem-Router Combo once you plug them into the correct ports and Check the Internet connectivity via APs once they are up.
Also, I would like to suggest you copy the SPS08095j version on your second Switch partition (pleaser refer to the below picture) as well to avoid any issues in the future. Please execute the below commands for the same.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
copy flash flash secondary
boot system flash primary yes
Example:

ICX7150-24P Router>enable (hit enter to accept the command)
ICX7150-24P Router#copy flash flash secondary (hit enter to accept the command and wait: until the flash finished)
ICX7150-24P Router#boot system flash primary yes (hit enter to accept the command: the switch will reboot)
Please check and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hi Imran,
As I previously mentioned, the APs are plugged into the following Ethernet interfaces: 1/1/2, 1/1/3, and 1/1/4
I have other devices plugged into 1/2/1 and 1/2/2 which have been there for a year without issue.
I will go ahead and copy the software to the secondary partition. Please provide another solution for the AP issue.
