Re-setup AP and switch after purchasing home

I recently bought a new house that has:

- ICX 7150-C08P switch

- qty 2 R510 access points

We also have our own router & modem installed to the ICX 7150 switch & its working fine if we just connect wifi to that router. I found the setup user guide & we have all the hardware setup per the figures correctly.

I successfully reset one of the R510 APs & I see it in the app under "Total 1 WLAN" - it's showing "Online" but "No Clients". I DO NOT see that WLAN in my phone settings-->wifi. I still see the "configure.me-xxxxxx"


I also see the ICX7150 switch in the app as "Pending" and "No Connected Devices". When I click on it, it prompts me for a username & password which I do not have since it was from the previous homeowner.

Do I need to reset the ICX7150 switch to reset the username/password? How do I do that?
Do I need to do anything else with the R510 APs?

Disclaimer - I have ZERO experience with setting this step up. Please provide steps for a 5th grade level 🙂 Thanks!

I tried using my laptop web browser. It said it was successful but the wi-fi network doesn't appear in the list of available networks.

Thank you for your response and update.

On your laptop browser, please try logging in using the following link:
https://unleashed.ruckuswireless.com/
Once logged in, please check the WLAN list and check whether your new Wi-Fi network created during reset appears in the Unleashed system. If it's there it should be visible on the devices.

I got it working! We had the ethernets connected incorrectly. I see the new wifi network & am successfully connected to it.

When I go to the unleashed dashboard, it still shows the switch as "disconnected" but it seems to be working ok. Do I need to get it to show as "connected"? if so, how? I still don't know the login/password.

Thank you for your recent correspondence and update.

To assist you further with adding the Switch to the Unleashed system, please provide the command outputs after accessing the Switch via CLI as described below.

1. First, identify the current IP address assigned to the switch ICX-7150-C12P by your local router. You can use an IP scanner tool to easily locate the switch's IP address on your network. Here is a guide on how to perform this using IP Scanner free applications:

2. Once you have identified the IP address of the switch, proceed to access the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P switch. Here is a guide on how to access the CLI:

If you can access the Command line the prompt should look like below:

ICX7150-C12 Router> OR

ICX7150-C12 Switch>

3. After successfully accessing the CLI, please execute the following commands and provide the outputs:

   enable

   show version

   show flash
