App must be connected through the internet. In apple mobile phone app must be connected through allowing its permissions then only the app can be run.

If the nulls clash app says it's not connected to the network, first check that your internet (Wi-Fi or mobile data) is working properly. Restart your device, and make sure the app is up to date. Try switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data, or turning airplane mode on and off. If it still doesn’t connect, clear the app cache (on Android) or reinstall the app. If the problem continues, the issue may be on the app’s server side—wait a bit and try again later.
