R510 update needed?

Gunner
New Contributor II

We are experiencing buffering issues on our TVs during peak times and suspect it is coming from our Ruckus R510, especially since our HOA upgraded to a very high Spectrum speed.    We cannot access Configure.Me and the website the community points us to no longer exists.  We know the serial number of the R510 but not the password.  Several of our Lennar HOA members are replacing their Ruckus equipment for other brands because they cannot navigate the upgrades.   Our system was installed by Amazon Tech Services.   Is there any phone support available for Lennar homes?>

Please see the attached pictures.   The R510 is the only cable plugged into the Ruckus modem.  There are 4 lights illuminated on the R510.  Ruckus.jpgRuckus 2.jpg

I've now got the IP addresses for the Ruckus equipment.   I got to the command line on my Mac, and typed in "enable" and got a list of about 20 items, none of them related to the Ruckus.   The Mac instructions after you get to the command line on the Mac seem a bit vague.  Your help appreciated

Hi @Gunner

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the information you shared.

Please try to access the RUCKUS Switch IP address in a web browser and login.

You should see the Switch Dashboard as shown in the below screenshot to confirm it’s a Switch IP Address.

Let me know once you login in to the web dashboard.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding

Hi,  I am able to login to the Unleashed web dashboard using a default admin password.    It shows 3 devices with 2 of them labeled Samsung  and the third has no label.  I am assuming these are for the 3 Samsung TV's. (not laptops).    Please reply with the upgrade instructions.  I see "Backup and Restore", and "Upgrade" options under Administration.  Thanks.  Ed

Hi @Gunner

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the update.

If you are planning to upgrade the Access Points, please refer to the RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help article below for detailed upgrade instructions.

Please note that no backup is required, and you may proceed directly with the upgrade.

Thanks for your help.  I did a single update which I assume works on both the Ruckus switch and wireless device?
