Ive tried restoring the bak file and it wont do anything. The AP is connected to a router and it is unable to get an internet connection. Unit seems defective and shows up as lifetime warranty on the site.

Please make sure to reset the Access Point using a web browser as explained in the video shared previously.

If i let my router do the dhcp, what ip address and gateway do i need to put under wan ip address? Im tempted to think there is a config issue

This is starting to get ridiculous, ive spent over a day to get this working to not avail. This unit is obviously defective and needs to be replaced. Please transfer me to level 2 and lets stop wasting time

There is no need to configure anything if you have reset the AP as described previously.
We suggest you upgrade your ALL RUCKUS R510 Access Points to version 200.14.6.1.203 which is recently released.

Once you upgrade your ALL Access Points, please check the Wi-Fi internet connectivity.
