Ive tried restoring the bak file and it wont do anything. The AP is connected to a router and it is unable to get an internet connection. Unit seems defective and shows up as lifetime warranty on the site.

Hi @thejammer

Please confirm how it was connected when it worked before?

Thank you.

Hi @thejammer

Thank you for the response and the information.

As you mentioned previously the PWR light is flashing, meaning the AP is working normally. However, it's not getting an IP address assigned to it by your ISP Router. Please refer to the below link for more information about the light status of the RUCKUS R510 Access Point.

We suggest factory resetting the AP. Please follow the below process to factory reset your APs to configure it with a new Wi-Fi Network/SSID.

Hi @thejammer

Thank you for the response and the update.

Please connect the Access Point to an external power 12 VDC adapter and reset it separately without connecting to the Switch PoE port cable. (Please refer to the below screenshot). Usually, you will find the 12 VDC adapter connected to your ISP’s (Internet Service Provider’s) Router/Modem-Router combo device. Please connect to external power adapter and reset it once again.

Please check the Access Point following the above process and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
