Hello,
I've followed the Software Recovery Guide but I'm now stuck at Putty. Putty only shows a green rectangle without any command lines, text, or letters, etc.
I've physically connected my laptop to the ICX 7150-C12P via USB to USC C and also Cat6 ethernet cable to the out-of-band management port. I don't know if the management port it supposed to light up, but there are no lights. The only lights on the switch are amber SYST and green PWR.
I've downloaded TFTP 64 and set it up as instructed with mnz10115.bin and SPS08090k.bin copied to a new folder titled Upgrade.
I've configured my computer's IP address to 192.168.0.2, 255.255.255.0, and 192.168.0.2 as instructed.
I've opened TFTP and set the directory to the Upgrade folder and the server interface to the 192.168.0.2. TFTP has been left open as instructed
I've opened Putty to Serial and COM3 and shown under Device Manager. For what it's worth, my Device Manager shows the Port as Ports (COM & LPT), Silicon Labs CP210x USB to UART Bridge (COM3).
Putty opens but all it shows is a black screen with a single green rectangle. There is no command line input and no text can be entered anywhere.
I have tried alternate ways to connect, including using Advanced IP Scanner. When I run the scanner, no Ruckus devices are detected.

You won’t see the device on the network as it’s failed to boot (amber SYST light). What have you set your serial settings to?
They should be as follows:
ParameterValue
Baud: Bits per second | 9600 |
Data bits | 8 |
Parity | None |
Stop bits | 1 |
Flow control | None |

Squozen, when I open Putty, it defaults to SSH connection type. After I change it to Serial connection, the default speed is 9600, which I leave as is. The default Serial Line is COM1, which I change to COM3. I’m not seeing where I can change data bits, parity, stop bits, and flow control as you suggested. Are these options in a sub menu?
Imran, I have set Putty to Serial connection type, 9600 speed, COM3 serial line as instructed. I have tried opening Putty and waiting for some time but it only ever shows a black screen with a single green rectangle. No commands or text can be input.
I’m not sure how up upload or attach images in this forum. When I try to paste photos into my message, the text box shows “You do not have permission to upload images.
