I just moved into a Lennar home and there were three WAPs that look like this in the home: (picture link). I connected one to a new internet switch (model number TP-Link TL-SG105) and also connected my modem to the switch. I'm not seeing power go to the WAP via the power over ethernet cable. What else must I do to power the WAP? I tried to factory reset the unit, but I did not see any indicator lights. Please assist with this request; any installation or initialization steps would be appreciated. Thank you!

Hi @mcmessina3
Greetings!!!
Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.

Thank you for the information you shared.
As per the case description, I understand that you are trying to set up your RUCKUS devices in your recently moved Lennar Home.

Once you confirm the RUCKUS devices are connected as per the above description, You can try connecting to the Wi-Fi network from the RUCKUS Access Points using the credentials provided on the Networking Device holding cabin. (Please refer to the below screenshot)
If the login username and password don’t work, you need to factory reset your RUCKUS Access Points and configure them with a new Wi-Fi network/SSID. Please refer to the below RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge base self-help article for the Access Points factory reset process.
Please check and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

I don't have the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch. Is the switch I have from TP-Link acceptable for this solution?

Hi @mcmessina3
Thank you for your prompt response.
To ensure proper functionality, it is imperative that the switch features a PoE (Power over Ethernet) port. In the absence of a PoE switch, it will be necessary to utilize an external 12 VDC adapter to power the RUCKUS Access Point. For clarification, please refer to the enclosed screenshot.
Please be advised that if a RUCKUS switch is not employed, the switch will not be manageable through the RUCKUS Unleashed AP System and RUCKUS Unleashed Mobile application. Nevertheless, it will effectively serve its intended purpose of providing Wi-Fi network internet connectivity.
Should you have any inquiries regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Once again, thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Best regards,

Thank you for your support. I plugged my Access Point into my switch via the power over ethernet cable. Why are the LEDs not on? What should I do to troubleshoot this without the RUCKUS Unleashed AP System and RUCKUS Unleashed Mobile application?
