Hello,
I switched to a new ISP [fiber optic] and my Ruckus system Wi-Fi is stopped working.
Here is the setup:
Fiber Optic cable-->Modem-->Wifi Router-->Ruckus Swtich [port#11]-->4 Ruckus APs
Setup in bold above is new. Modem and WiFi router is provided by the ISP.
When I connect my laptop via a LAN cable to Ruckus Switch [and turn laptop's WiFi off] I can access internet; there by leading me to conclude that Rucks Switch is getting internet; but there is not Wi-Fi internet connectivity.

Hello Imran -I got the switch IP address and have installed Putty.
I tried all username/password combinations listed [admin/sp-admin/lennar etc.] on the website and it did not work. Installer must have used some other password.
Is there a way I can hardwire my laptop to the Ruckus switch and bypass or reset the password?

Hi @ruckus_houston
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the information you shared.
You could try the Telnet option to log in to CLI (Putty) as described in the same guide- Please refer below
Telnet – Port 23
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router> OR
ICX7150-C12 Switch>
Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
show version
show flash
Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
Imran Sanadi

Hello, I connected my ruckus switch to my laptop via a LAN/ethernet cable and ran the IP scanner tool. It came up with following options, which one do I use in putty?

I tried to telnet into 192.168.40.199 ICX7150-C12 IP address listed above and I got network time out error. I am connected to the switch via an ethernet cable. Should I connect over WiFi or to a different IP address?

I logged into the admin console via browser [found a pwd that works]; please see screenshot below. Will this console help me get my connection issue sorted? I noticed that "working" switch is 0. [I am connected via WiFi]
