Need replacement Ruckus Switch

Hello, in the past 2 years, the Ruckus switch has failed 3 times (all 3 in the past 7 months) it is currently out again, and I am unable to reset it. The model no. is  ICX7150-C12P. I have tried resetting it. Frustrating as this keeps failing.

Please give the detailed description of the issue.

 

Please let us know how many access points are connected to the switch.

 

Is there any power outage recently?

 

Also please let us know the LED status of the switch and the access points using the below guide.

Appreciate the quick response.

I have 2 access points connected, both do not have any lights on

on the switch, I have SYST as yellow and PWR as green, no other lights.

There was no power outage.

 

Just to add, i have performed reset twice (once using the reset hole in the back, another time removing the power and reconnecting after a few minutes.

We cannot replace the chassis until you confirm that the hardware is damaged. 

 

Based on your description your switch has green and yellow light, which means that the switch is stuck in boot mode.

 

If the resetting process doesn't work, we need to perform a software recovery.

Note: after fixing the issue of the Switch been stuck in boot mode, please perform an upgrade to the code 08095g UFI and upgrade both partitions with the switching code file named SPS08095gufi.bin, so perform the software recovery using the code 08090k with the upgrade image file named SPS08090k.bin, then when the switch is back to normal upgrade to the file SPS08095gufi.bin for both partitions primary and secondary.
