Need a switch replacement

Hugpinapple

I’m so tired of spending hours after hours to get the switch works after each power outage. It’s completely down this time. I’ve reviewed the knowledge articles and there’s no way I can complete the task nor I don’t have a Ethernet-abled laptop. Respectfully request a replacement switch with the stabled image version that I don’t need to worry about the power outage ever.

Hi @Hugpinapple

Please try to connect the ethernet cable to the ethernet port on the switch and the laptop as mentioned below. Ethernet cable connected between the Out-of-band management port in the Switch to your computer Ethernet port.

If you don't have ethernet ports on your laptop please try to get a laptop which has ethernet ports and make the connection.

Thanks for your response,

Please check the connections again from the switch to your laptop and reconnect it. Also please try to connect the ethernet cable to the ethernet ports on the switch and the laptop as mentioned below.

I changed a different laptop with Ethernet port, and it still can’t connect.
