My ICX-7150 C12P switch is dead. No lights.

Hello Support Team,I own a Ruckus ICX 7150-C12P and a WAP through Lennar. My switch is not powering on at all. When I plug it in, the amber light flashes briefly, then the unit shuts off completely, and no lights remain on. There have been no power

Remove power from the switch.
Press and hold the reset button while applying power to the switch.
Release the reset button after all of the system LEDs are not turning on

The switch was completely reset. So I had to login console and configure the admin user account and login to the management IP that i manually assigned which is https://192.168.68.50

Question

- Since the switch was reset it lost all configs . How do i start to configure to make sure all the devices are able to power on on POE and they are able to get internet access

- Do i need configure vLAN's.

- Do you recommend any perticular subnet that mgmt network to be on instead of the one i listed above ?

- If i connect the Access point cables to ports will they come up automatically or do i need to do any configurations.

- Is there any default switch config for lennar familes that you can provide that i can restore.

Thanks !

Wanted to make sure this comments is on top.

Hi @davidswilson

Greetings!

Thank you for your response and the update.

Please find answers to your queries.

Regarding your first three questions:
Please note that there are no specific configurations required, such as VLANs, subnets, or restore procedures. The setup is essentially plug-and-play, as the devices operate using the default configuration of the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P switch.

Regarding your last two questions:
The Access Points should function as they did previously without requiring additional configuration. Please ensure that all Ethernet cables are connected to ports within the 1–12 range on the switch.

There is no manual switch configuration required for Lennar Homes, as it is designed to work in a plug-and-play manner, as mentioned above.

Additionally, you may refer to the RUCKUS Lennar Knowledge Base self-help article below for guidance on device setup and configuration:
