Good-Morning,
Have been without my Ruckus System now for about a year and finally taking the time to get it up and running again.
To begin I am on a MAC Book pro utalizing a usbc-usb and Ethernet -Ethernet port to communicate with ICX7150.
I have downloaded all the latest software and am trying to upload it to un-brick my ICX.
I can successful set all my IP setting in accordance to my Ethernet connection as described and can successfully ping my connection, but when I go to update_primary TFTP fails.
All firewalls are down when attempting this!!!!!!
I believe i may have a bad Communication in ethernet port on my device not allowing it to accept the software. I have tried to reach out to ruckus support for a warranty claim and they claim that I must ask for an RMA here.
I have spent HOURS on this and have followed all your steps exactly as outlined. I have watched ALL of your ruckus Youtube videos and still can not get this to work
I only have access to this macbook pro and do not have access to a PC.
PLEASE REPLACE MY UNIT

Thank you for the response and the update.
As per the error on your MAC Terminal, it is unable to fetch the files from TFTP Server.
And I see you are using USB Drive which does not work for software recovery process.
We request you arrange a Windows Laptop to perform software recovery to your Switch successfully.

I originally tried tfpt connection.
with the failed connection even though successful ping i moved forward with a usb.
usb proved to be useless.
I do not have access to a windows computer. With that being said how do we proceed?
I am lead to believe that i may have a truly bad ICX system and this unit does have a lifetime warranty

Apologies for the inconvenience.
Please refer to the below video for the configuration of the tftp server and add all software recovery files to the same and please try once again.

And, we have seen this issue with MAC Terminal. If it still doesn’t work after following the above configuration, we request you arrange a Windows Laptop.

Ruckus,
I have now lost all power to my ruckus system. No green or orange lights are present like they were in the previous images. Please send me an RMA so that we can have the unit replaces under its lifetime warranty

UPDATE:
I was able to successfully boot my ruckus system.
What do I have to do to prevent this from happening again! Is there a latest software to prevent this and where are the steps how to up load it.
Secondly,
I am trying to connect via the unleashed app. I have the latest revisions 11.138.1 and my iPhone still says I’m not connected to an unleashed network.
