I have 2 ports on my ICX7150-C12 Switch that are showing link status "connected with warning" message, how can I find out more about the message and what that means?

I just tried moving the port 11 cable into port 9 and the warning went away. This makes me concerned that there is an issue with the switch as all I did was use the same exact cable in another input.

same thing for port 5...I even tried to plug back in to the same port, but still was giving the amber light.

Hi @dcampen
Thanks for your response,
Please confirm us whether the warning went away by plugging the cables into different ports or not. Also to solve this issue we need to check the version of the switch by using the below steps.
First we need to access to the Switch via console (cable access between your PC to the ICX 7150-C12P) in this case we need a USB type C to USB standard or Console cable Rj45 to USB.
How to console in the ICX-7150-C12P
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router>
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
show flash
show version
Please share the output of the above commands.
Please let us know if you have any queries in this regard.
Best regards,

The warning went away after I changed ports...however I cannot seem to connect via command line after installing the referenced software. I have a Mac, and am very comfortable with command line usage as I use it all of the time. When I type in "ls /dev/cu.*" I do not see the SiLabs driver. My MacOS is 12.7. Please advise

Hi @dcampen
Thanks for your response,
As per the information you have shared the switch is in updated version ie. in SPS08095k. Also the warning message was also disappeared after changing the ports. So everything seems to be good. Please let us know if you get that warning message again in any of your ports.
Also please confirm whether you are having any other issues except this warning message.
Best regards,
Jayavidhya
