I recently contacted Ruckus support and had an issue that was resolved with the replacement of my ICX7150-C12P Switch. My switch had previously powered 6 POE cameras and 2 Ruckus AP's. After initial issues with re-establishing my IP with my new replacement switch, I got my APs back online and broadcasting. My POE cameras seem to be all powered, however I am unable to view any on my cameras app. I believe there is some kind of port or some kind that is currently blocked. I am unsure of how to proceed as I was informed that the replacement switch would work out-of-box and everything should have been previously transferred automatically. I configured my switch quite a while ago and am unsure of what could be the issue. Thank you!

Hi @imcobra
Greetings!!!
Thank you for contacting RUCKUS Lennar Home Community.
I hope you are doing well!!!
Thank you for the detailed information you shared.
As per the case description, I understand that you are unable to see your camera details on their application.
Please note, that when you get a new RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch it will preconfigured with the basic functionalities that are required. There will not be any port blocks or misconfigurations.
This problem seems to be on your Camera application end and we suggest checking it with its vendor.
You can check them and try by plugging their cables into any 1 in-12 ports (please refer to the screenshot below) on the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch.
Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience.
Best regards,
Imran Sanadi

Hello
I believe it's an issue with my replacement ICX7150-C12P. I'm working with my security camera manufacturer (Reolink), and they are just as confused. The cameras are available to view while connected to the Ruckus network; however, it seems that the POE cameras are functional, but there seems to be some kind of network blocking that won't allow my Reolink cameras to appear on LAN discovery. Every few minutes, it also seems as if some of the POE cameras are restarting, and the connection drops. Is there a possibility that there might be a port/network that is blocked? From Reolink, they mentioned I need port 9000. However, I'm unsure of how I proceeded last time, as from my last ICX7150-C12P switch, I was able to essentially plug and play with my POE cameras.

Hi @imcobra
Thank you for the response and the detailed information you shared.
Apologies for the inconvenience.
As mentioned in my previous post, the new Switch will be configured normally without blocking ports or any other functionality. We strongly suspect the issue is with the camera devices since the Access Points are working normally.
However, we can check the Switch configurations once via CLI. Please follow the below steps to access CLI and get the output of the below-mentioned commands.
Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries:
1. To check this issue, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P
I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.
How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications:
2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”
How to access the Command Line Interface (CLI) of the RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router> OR
ICX7150-C12 Switch>
Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
show version
show flash
show inline power
show interface brief
Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
Best regards,
