Hello, I have a ICX 7150 that has not been working, I have followed all console connection settings to hit a "failed ping" message...I was wondering what else could I possibly do, or what pictures/proof do I need to provide for a replacement device.
This community has helped me tremendously with all the possible troubleshooting steps, the techs are responsive and this forum is extremely valuable...however I have hit a brick wall.
Thank you in advance

Hi @Clement
Thank you for the information you shared,
Could you please restart your Laptop, make sure All Firewalls is off and try once again?
Please perform software recovery once again and share the screenshots if you are getting any errors or are stuck at any point in the software recovery process.
Thank you again for your patience.

Hi @Clement
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the update.
Please note, we must configure the IP to the laptop as mentioned in step 1 of the guide. Could you please check and confirm it once?
This must be statically assigned to have connectivity to your switch, remember you have an Ethernet cable from your computer to the Management port in the switch, so we require to configure the computer with the same subnet.
Without configuring this IP address, Switch will not respond. (Please refer to the below screenshots for more information)
Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Hello Imran again,
I did the above steps with no luck, so I ended up just trying to skip the ping step, and inputting the primary and secondary image . Ofcourse it did not work lol.
So, I did more digging and tried the "tftpboot" as a command, but I kept getting an error about a bad kernel. The switch would not boot from primary or secondary and couldn't get the kernel image... so I just set the primary and secondary to boot from the 8090k image on the tftp and I was able to boot finally...After that My lights were green.
I still never did get the "ping test" to work, so I inputted the "reset" command and tried to start from the bootloader, I tried pinging but still said "not alive"... I am still confused as to how I was able to boot from tftp with being able to connect... but the switch is working now with green sys lights, and I finally have power and ethernet going to my APs.

Hi @Clement
Greetings!!!
Thank you for the response and the update.
Great!!! Good to know that the Switch is back to its normal working status.
Yes, sometimes when we use the boot commands it recovers the image which is present within its database or connect tftp from the gateway IP ('setenv gatewayip' which is same as the server IP)
To check the Switch stability, partition information, and other behavior, could you please help us with the below commands from the CLI?
Please follow to the below steps to access CLI and get the output of the below-mentioned commands.
Please follow the below steps and help us with the queries,
1. To check this issue, we must identify the ‘current’ IP address assigned by your local router to the switch ICX-7150-C12P
I will leave you a guide on how to perform an IP scanner on your local network to identify the switch IP address very easily.
How to find my Ruckus “Devices IP address” using free applications:
2. Once we identify the IP address of the switch proceed to access remotely to the device “Command Line”
How to remotely access to 'ICX 7150-C12P' or 'access points' "Network devices":
If you can access the Command line should look like this:
ICX7150-C12 Router> OR
ICX7150-C12 Switch>
Please enter the below commands once you log in to CLI and share the output.
Note: Hit Enter to accept each command
enable
show version
show flash
show inline power
show interface brief
Please share the output of the above commands or share the screenshots if stuck at any step or error (if any) and let me know if you have any queries in this regard.
Thank you again. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
