Fixing Ruckus Switch After Power Outage

I followed the instructions in this article RUCKUS Forums - How to perform a Software recovery on an ICX7150 s... - CommScope RUCKUS Community F... however after installing the SPS08090k.bin image file using the Putty command line, the switch would boot up and ask for a login and none of the default logins work. The last step in the article says I need to update the image to the latest version so I want to make sure this will not cause issues. I tried unplugging power from the switch, and then restoring it, pressing "B" in Putty to start the boot monitor, but there was some error in trying to set the new updated image "SPR10010f_cd1ufi.bin". Is this the correct image file to use for the latest version?

The lights are green and the switch and access points are working as they were before the power outtage as far as I can tell. I am just concerned if installing only the older version image file will cause any issues down the road or if this will need to be updated and what latest image file should be used for the update?

Hi @nicholasrogers2

I hope this message finds you well.

Thank you for your prompt response.

Please note that earlier non-UFI versions, specifically those prior to 08080f, are known to contain certain issues or bugs. To ensure optimal performance, we always recommend upgrading your RUCKUS ICX-7150-C12P Switch to a stable, recommended version.

Before I proceed with assisting you in the upgrade process, could you kindly provide the current firmware version of your switch?

Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Thank you once again for your patience and understanding.

Best regards,
Imran Sanadi

In order to fix the booting issue after the power outage I followed the steps in an older article for firmware FastIron 08.0.90k (GA) (SPS08090k.bin) with boot file mnz10115.bin. Which is the correct firmware to update to?
