Connection to ethernet issues.

I just moved into an apartment with a ruckus device installed where most other bedrooms just have a standard ethernet port. I am trying to set up a new PC, and it says "network 3-action needed" when I plug the ethernet cable into the ruckus device. Does anyone know what I need to do to get it connected to the internet?
