Cannot connect to configure me WiFi for R720 AP

Bryce
New Contributor
Hello,
My house was previously running on 3 ruckus R510 AP’s. I recently bought three R720 AP’s to work with my 2 gig internet. I have unplugged all the R510 AP’s and plugged in just one of the 720 AP’s to my switch along with my router to one of the 12 ports. I see the configure me WiFi pop up. I type in the device S/N for the password. It appears to be trying to connect to the WiFi but never does. The AP currently has the power light solid green and CTL light slow blinking green with no other lights. Can you please advise how I am able to get connected to the configure me WiFi so I can set up my master AP and connect the other two AP’s?

Hello @Bryce ,

Thank you for the response.

I understand that you are getting message that you are connected to an unleashed network, but not connected to the Internet.

Connecting to configure.me does not help you in accessing the Internet as it is just a temporary setup by the reset Unleashed network.

Configure.me exists only to let you access the setup wizard at:

I would request you to please follow the You tube video for setting up the Unleashed network:

Ruckus Unleashed Set-up using Web:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8I5aVwMNMg

Please follow the video and let us know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pinky,
I tried setting up exactly the same as I did for my previous R510 AP’s which is how the YouTube video also explains it. When attempting to access the setup wizard is when I get the error of I am connected to an unleashed network but not the internet.

Could you please share the picture of the connection ports of the switch as shared in the below pic?

Also please confirm it the ethernet cable is plugged to one of the 12 ports in the Switch?

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.
