Can't upgrade ICX 7150 to image 8095g - The code type 64 is not correct for the target hardware

PoE has recently went offline on my Ruckus 7150 switch. When I connect to the console I see the following error messages:
> Vmain (48V) fault has forced all ports on slot 0 to lose power.

I've attempted to upgrade the image to version 8095g over TFTP as advised in https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Support-for-Lennar-Homes/POE-Fatal-message-is-floodin...

When I enter the upgrade command, I get the following error:
--------------

telnet@ruckus-switch#The code type 64 is not correct for the target hardware, abort!

Hi @Rjndael

Greetings of the day,

Please upgrade the switch twice using the following path .

Code>08080f>08095g using the file SPS08095gufi.bin in both partition primary and secondary

copy rftp flash 192.168.0.9 spz10106.bin bootrom

copy tftp flash 192.168.0.9 SPS08080f.bin primary

Show flash  (ensure that you have the new flash code)

Write memory

reload

Now you can go to the recommended code:

copy tftp flash 192.168.0.9 SPR08095gufi.bin primary

copy tftp flash 192.168.0.9 SPR08095gufi.bin secondary

Show flash  (ensure that you have the new flash code)

Write memory

Reload

I've managed to do the upgrade.

In order to roll on 08080f, I've used the following commands:

copy rftp flash 192.168.0.9 mnz10114.bin bootrom

copy tftp flash 192.168.0.9 SPS08080f.bin primary

You can find the mnz10114.bin in the Boot directory in the 08080f.zip. Then I've restarted the router and rolled on 08095g just to the primary:

copy tftp flash 192.168.0.9 SPR08095gufi.bin primary

Rebooted one more time. After the update, the switch would take a while to startup, since it is going to update firmware of the components, which takes around 10 minutes.

After the restart, PoE works flawlessly. The problem is fixed.

Hi @Rjndael

I am so glad to hear that the issue got resolved.

Thanks for letting us know.

Please let us know if you have any queries in this regard.

Best regards,
