Access point switches

Whenever we lose power, even if it’s for a few seconds, we lose the Ruckus service in our new Lennar home. It will come back online in a day or two but as of the last surge which happened last week we still haven’t gotten the Ruckus system back on. I’ve unplugged the system a few times but nothing happened  Any suggestions?

Hi @Mike1347

Thank you for the response and the update.

Sure, please perform the process as explained in my previous post and let me know if you are stuck at any point.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

I have reset the system per your instructions. The access points are still not getting power to them. I do not have a home computer, only a laptop, so I can not run the program to reboot. This problem happens too often.

Hi @Mike1347

Greetings!!!

Thank you for the response and the update.

If resetting with a paper clip doesn’t work, please perform software recovery as explained in the post previously and share the screenshots if you are getting any errors or are stuck at any point in the software recovery process.

Once we perform the software recovery the RUCKUS Switch will be upgraded to a UFI image version which will avoid this issue in the future.

Please let me know if you have any queries in this regard.

Thank you again for your patience and understanding.

Thank you for your help, but, after looking at the steps needed to reset the system with a laptop I’m afraid this is out of my league.

I have a laptop but it isn’t a MAC. I have looked again at the steps to reboot the system and I don’t think I can do it. Any simple instructions you can give me would be helpful
