7150 have no status light and We don’t have any power at the R510 access point switches.

I have tried resetting the switches by unplug power but no luck.

I have connected modem only . Is there required model + router?

Good morning. Yes I have an Ethernet cable connected was indicated previously. The data link light is active.

Hi @twmcc

Based on your troubleshooting you have done, since the ICX 7150-12P out of band Ethernet port is not responding you will not be able to perform the software recovery, so this unit must be RMA (return merchandise authorization) means replace it.

Feel free to contact us via chat, comment you already have a post, copy the link from the post and paste it into the chat to start unit replacement.

Hi Yarenis,

I was just retrying the entire procedure and still got the ping failed.

BUT I decided to unplug the unit and plug it back in again and you can see below the Putty dump that I got from the unit. What does this all mean?

The lights are correct and it appears to be working. Understand that I don't have the APs plugged in at this time.

Hi @twmcc

If you come back to the boot mode state (CX7150-Boot>) and the ping keeps failing you will not be able to perform the software recovery, this is why I have approved the RMA, however, you can try the factory reset let me add the steps, and if it comes back, out of the boot state, please upgrade to the recommended code 08095g, I will add the guides too.

  1. Remove power from the switch.
  2. Press and hold the Reset button while applying power to the switch.
  3. After all the system LEDs flash amber, release the Reset button.
When all the system LEDs blink green, all the configuration data are erased and the switch is returned to its factory configuration. When all the system LEDs are solid green, the erase process is complete and the system reloads. Once reloaded and the SYST LED is steady green, the factory reset is complete.
