factory reset - CLI- No access to power

We don't have access on power of switch, would like to know if there is Command to factory reset the ICX 7150 ?

Hi,

If you have CLI access, then you can use 'erase starup-config' followed by a 'reload' command which will wipe out the configuration on the switch.

Here is another way to do the same thing plus reset the password:

Reset Password

1.       Press and hold Ctrl+y then release and push M then release and push Enter

2.       Type “reset” at OS prompt

3.       Press B (for monitor) keep pressing until you’re in monitor mode

4.       Type – “no password” or to completely wipe type “use default-configuration”

5.       To reboot type “boot or boot system flash primary”
