VLAN 1 is not working on stack mode

Dear All,

First off please excuses me English isn't my native language.

We have two of Brocade ICX7250-48P stacked, the idea behind is to accomplish a failover , whenever switch one is down we will remain online because each server will have two ports connected to each switch.

the issue is Switch number is working fine so ive configured the second switch as stack see below

the issue as next, when I connect the cable to switch 1 doesn't matter which ports I received IP from VLAN1, when I connect it to the second switch I don't get any ip.

I don't know what I have done wrong can someone please point me to the right direction ?

this the output of VLAN1

*Sorry. I also don't see the port settings 1/1/11 to 1/1/12 ethernet 2/1/11 to 2/1/12

@andre_paiva  I appreciate your support.

the NAS LACP is just a test to check the LACP configuration which seems to work.

1. You are connecting a single server that has 4 ports, two of which are connected in the each stack switch

yes this what I am exactly doing. two ports at each switch. so whenever something happens with whatever switch we will remain connected.

but when I connect a Radom pc to the second switch, none of the ports are working, the device is supposed to receive ip from the DHCP server.

is this maybe because the second switch is configured as stand by?

This could be an issue with dhcp server reachability from the pc vlans, Do u have any other PC on same vlan getting Ip from DHCP server ?

You can also open a tac case for one of our tech to look into it.

1. When you connect a Radom PC to the second switch, how is the PVID (VLAN 141) on this port ("show interface ethernet brief")?

2. Is this problem occurring only with other PCs? Is your server connected to the ports (1/1/11 | 1/1/12 | 2/1/11 | 2/1/12) receiving IPs normally?

3. will it be because the second switch is configured as stand by?

I do not think so. As it is in the stack, a master will always be chosen and another one will stand as for the settings and control plan in mode standby.
