ı have a ICX7250-48 switches. Now, running Image Version: SW: Version 08.0.30fT211 and I want update to latest version. I'm finding lastest version 09.0.10d for this switch. How can I follow the update path? like a fortinet. Btw, switch configs not important. Its can be reset.

I do think I can't able to install latest version.

Anyone experience this about?

Hi @taha_colak

Hope you are doing well !

I suggest using the following guide which indicates the suggested destination path if you don't need any functions in the 9010d code if that is your case.

https://support.ruckuswireless.com/documents/1591-ruckus-icx-target-path-selection-guide

File.PNG

1-To go to 8090x+ o 8095x+   we use the 8080f non-UFI version as an intermediate version.

8080f.PNG

To go to 9010+ versions the upgrade guide mentioned to go to 8095d version first as best practice

Note: Also needed to go 8080f first to go to 8095d

save 10.PNG

I strongly recommend to read the upgrade guide to the version you want to upgrade and the features needed it.

Here you can find any documentation needed : https://support.ruckuswireless.com/software?filter=105#sort=relevancy&f:@source=[Documentation]&f:@c...

The upgrade can be done via TFTP or USB.

Note do a 'Write memory' before any upgrade

Hey @taha_colak

Please see this post for code recommendations:

https://community.ruckuswireless.com/t5/RUCKUS-Self-Help/What-code-should-I-run-on-my-ICX-Check-the-...

As for the upgrade process, the general rule of thumb right now is the following:

Old code (ex. 8030) > 8080f non-UFI image (be sure to 'wr mem' when you boot 8080f) > 8090/8095/9010 UFI image

You can find more details in the upgrade guides, but that rule holds pretty well as of now.

Hope that helps!
