100gb port on 7550 no connection

Hoping someone can shed some light on what I may doing wrong here.  

I have a 7850 connected to a 7550

7850 port 1/2/1  <<<---------100GB fiber ------->>> 7550 1/2/2

Both sides are set to speed-duplex optic.  It'[s the only setting the 7550 will take.  Both SFPs are up from show media command but the ports refuse to come up.  Thoughts on what may be the issue?  

7850 show media   Port 1/2/1: Type : 100GBASE-CWDM4 2km (QSFP28)
7550 show media   Port 1/2/2: Type : 100GBASE-CWDM4 2km (QSFP28)
